Local Directgov Support
The Local Directgov team provides support for the Local Directgov application. We monitor broken links and work with web portal officers to ensure they are fixed. We also provide support for councils using the Local Directgov administration interface.
There are two ways that councils can upload links into the Local Directgov database.
Local Directgov administration interface
The Local Directgov administration web interface is a tool that allows the web portal officer to maintain the links that are supplied to by their council to Local Directgov. It can be used by councils that no longer use esd-toolkit to maintain their links.
Please contact us at localdirectgov@communities.gsi.gov.uk if you would like to use this interface to update links for your council.
esd-toolkit
Most councils use esd-toolkit to upload their Local Directgov links through a spreadsheet. Overnight these URLs are pulled into the Local Directgov system.
