Making the Most of Local Directgov Links

The Local Directgov database is a repository of the most accurate link on the websites of local councils in England to over 240 citizen-facing services. These links can be reused by councils on their own sites to link to services provided by district or county councils in their area. Using a Local Directgov link means that only the council providing that service needs to ensure that it is up to date.

The Local Directgov team has done some work, with help from local authorities, looking at how to use Local Directgov links in different ways:

If you have any suggestions or examples of how to use Local Directgov links, please let us know. You can email us at localdirectgov@communities.gsi.gov.uk.
